a therapeutic home for holistic health

Welcome

I’m an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families. I specialise in autism and men’s health, including boarding school survival and fatherhood.

Garden of Eadon is the name I use to capture the various threads and facets of my work. I’m so grateful to be welcoming you to this space, and believe the journey through therapy begins in this moment of inquiry and curiosity. The healing we do together happens in the words you read here, in the practice room, online and in between sessions.

I invite you to slow down, spend some time discovering ways I can support you, through my offerings below or follow these links to read more about me and my mindful musings.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with people of all ages, genders, sexualities and relationship styles with a wide range of presenting issues. I offer a compassionate space to explore unhealthy patterns, identity and holistic wellbeing. Whether new to therapy or trying someone new, I am here for you.

HOW I WORK

I am an integrative and transpersonal psychotherapist offering a grounded presence to balance mind, body and soul. I use traditional talking therapy, embodiment and spiritual practices for authentic congruence. I encourage awareness, acceptance and action.

SPECIALISMS

Beyond my general practice I have a number of areas where I have both lived experience and clients presenting with specific needs. I have specialist training on autism, boarding school syndrome, men’s work and inner child access.

GROUP WORK

As social creatures, groups help us to be fully witnessed through shared reflection, connection, and growth. Find your tribe around men’s circles, fathers, boarding school survivors, reconnecting to the inner child, nature and parents of autistic children.

Welcome to the garden…

A place for counselling and psychotherapy with me, Alexander Gray…

Garden of Eadon is a therapeutic space to balance mind, body and soul. The parallel I see is that we unveil your authentic self, which may have been influenced by your genes (body) and your environment (mind) which can cloud your nature (soul).

When it came to naming my business, it felt important to capture the range of experience I have - but also my approach, which is inspired by nurture, nature and the divine, in balance with the masculine and feminine - a beautiful portal for therapy.

Eadon is a play on words - it is my middle name, and also represents a return to innocence, balance and harmony with nature. The garden aspect is a nod to the Elements model I often use in sessions, which involves exploring qualities within a person through a lens of earth, water, fire and air.

Regardless of our biological sex or gender identity, we can also experience the elements through masculine and feminine archetypes.
